Hello friends,

Whenever we have some breakfast like pakodi, dosa, paranta etc. we also need curd, sauce or chutney together. But what to do when fasting is going on  ???? We have brought a special chutney to solve this problem, Please Have a Look.

Peanut Chutney

  1. 1 Cup- Roasted Peanuts
  2. 1 Bowl- Curd
  3. 1- Green chilli Chopped
  4. Rock Salt to Taste
  5. 1/2 Inch- Ginger
  6. 1/2 Cup- Water

For Tempering

  1. 1 Tbsp- Ghee
  2. 1 Tsp- Cumin Seeds
  3. 8-10- Curry leaves
  4. 3 – whole red chilli

In a blender add roasted & skinless peanuts ( for this process you can check our previous recipe of peanut chikki ) .  With peanuts add curd, green chilli, ginger, salt & water.

Now blend these very well. if you require you can add more water too. Adjust consistency according to your taste. Pour into a bowl.

Take a tadka / tempering pan, heat ghee then splutter cumin seeds, curry leaves & whole red chilli. When they are cracked properly add into chutney bowl and mix it well.

This peanut chutney can be served in fasting days with sabudana khichdi, sabudana cutlet, sabudana dosa, rajgira puri, pakodi  etc. Thank You …Happy Cooking 🙂
