Back to the basic recipes, this one is all time favourite of many of us. “Lacchedar Kheer” from Veggie Treasures.

Milk- 2 ltr.
Rice- 100 gm
Dry fruits(cashews, skinless almonds)
Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
*Take a thick bottom wok. next grease wok with ghee,just to prevent from burning though we need to stir it.
*Now pour milk in wok & let it boil.
*Add in rice and stir it continuously.
*When milk with rice started to boil then stir kheer occasionally.And cook it till kheer gets thick consistency.
*Add in 2 cups of sugar, dry fruits, cardamom powder, and mix it well.When sugar dissolves then turn off the flame.
*Garnish with chopped almonds, saffron strings.Serve Kheer hot or cold both goes well with aloo paratha, puri sabji, ghewar etc.Enjoyyyy 😄
