Amritsari Paneer

Amritsari Paneer


  1. 200 gm – Paneer Slices
  2. 1.5 Cup – Beaten Curd
  3. 1 Tsp – Red Chilli Powder
  4. 1/4 Tsp – Turmeric Powder
  5. Salt as Per Taste
  6. 1/4 Tsp – Garam Masala
  7. 1 Tsp – Mint Leaves Chopped
  8. 1 Tsp – Coriander Leaves Chopped
  9. 1 Tsp – Coriander Powder
  10. 1 Tsp – Chaat Masala
  11. 1 Tsp – Ginger-Garlic Paste
  12. 1 Tsp – Green Chilli Chopped
  13. Oil for Shallow Frying
  14. Besan/Gram flour as Required


First take beaten curd into a bowl then add red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, garam masala, mint & coriander leaves, coriander powder, chaat masala, ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chilli. Now mix it well.

Add in rectangular shape 1/2 inch thick paneer slices one by one, now coat them into marination.

Cover it and leave for at least 2 hours into refrigerator.

Then take besan/gram flour in plate. Now take one slice of paneer and coat in besan evenly and then put on medium hot pan for shallow frying.

Fry from both sides evenly then take out. Serve them hot with freshly grounded mint chutney, sauce etc. Enjoyyyy.
