Cauliflower Fritters

Crispy Gobhi Pakora


  1. 250 gm- Cauliflower Florets
  2. 2 Cups- Besan / Gram Flour
  3. 2 – Onions
  4. 10-12- Garlic Pods
  5. 3-4- Green Chilies
  6. 1/2 inch- Ginger
  7. 1 Tsp- Red Chilli Powder
  8. 1/4 Tsp- Turmeric
  9. 1/4 Tsp- Garam Masala
  10. 1/2 Tsp- Chaat Masala
  11. 2-3 Piece- Cloves / Laung Crushed
  12. 1/4 Tsp- Black Pepper Powder
  13. 1 Tsp– Fennel / Saunf
  14. Pinch – Asafoetida
  15. Salt to Taste
  16. Handful- Chopped Coriander Leaves
  17. Oil for deep frying
  18. Water as required


To begin with this recipe first chop in big cauliflower florets and then wash them and keep them aside.

In a grinder jar add garlic pods, ginger, green chillies & onions. Just crush them in a grinder.

Take besan in a pot add water in a little amount, whisk well. We just required semi thick batter then add in crushed onion paste, red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, garam masala, chaat masala, crushed laung powder, black pepper powder, saunf, heeng / asafoetida & chopped coriander leaves.

Now dip in cauliflower florets in batter and then drop in medium hot oil.Fry fritters or pakoras for some time only . Do not fry till golden brown in colour, when pakoras changes colour slightly then take out from oil & put them on tissue paper.

On a flat surface put pakora & gently press with masher or flat bowl { Check in our video } then again fry in same pan till golden brown in colour.Then take out & serve hot with dhaniya- pudina chutney or sauce etc. Enjoyyyy 😋😋
