Modak Rabri Drink


Hey Guys,

Today Ganpati Visarjan is done, and a big festival is ended for this year.

Now what happens during festival seasons we make or buy sweets and they do not finish at right time 🙂

So we keep them in fridge for long , so to solve this issue we brought a new recipe which can remove sweets from your fridge 😀

or if a welcome guests suddenly then you can serve this recipe too which is “Modak Rabri Drink” 

Modak Rabri Drink


500 ml – Milk

8-10 pcs- Modak ( I used Pistachio Modak )

2-3 tbsp – Sugar ( Optional )

1 tsp – Cashews Chopped

1 tsp – Almonds Chopped

1 Tsp – Pistachio Chopped

1/2 Tsp – Cardamom Powder ( I did not use it )



In a heavy vessel or nonstick pan add milk and let it boil.

When milk starts thickening add sugar, it is completely optional .You can remove sugar. Now stir it.

Add in leftover Modaks in it by crushing them.Stir well milk by crushing modak with spoon.


Let it boil on low flame for 5-10 min. It will be thick in consistency. ( you can keep it for some time on low flame it will be very thick, now this is up to you only, here we want to drink it so made like this only ).

Add now dry fruits and mix well.


The modak rabri drink is ready. 🙂

You can serve it hot or chilled, this taste is quite awesome when it is chilled , when you serve it chilled it taste like Mawa Kulfi.
