- Sama / Bhagar / Barnyard Millet- 2-3 tbsp
- Milk – 1/2 kg
- Sugar – 1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
- Dry Fruits – 1 tsp
- Saffron strings for garnishing
Firstly, boil milk in thick bottomed pan, when milk started to boil add washed sama rice into milk.
In starting point stir for 1-2 minutes then do stir in intervals.
Now you find that milk is getting thick in consistency.
When sama is cooked and kheer is in thick consistency then add sugar and let it dissolve .
Add cardamom powder and dry fruits of your choice.And turn off heat.
Sama kheer is ready to serve, garnish it with saffron strings.
It is also a good option on fasting days. Enjoyyyy 🙂
It is very easy to make so you need not soak it for sometime.
