Milk Cake | Kalakand


  1. Milk-1litre
  2. Alum-Like green pea
  3. Sugar-100 gm/1cup
  4. Cardamom-1/4 tsp
  5. Saffron-7-8 strings

Ghee-1 tbsp

Dry Fruits chopped-as required(cashew,almonds)


In a wok pour milk and boil it.

When it is boiling add Alum/Fitkari and keep stirring it.After some time you will see small lumps are forming.

Keep stirring it, milk will be thick and dry.

Now add ghee, then add sugar and mix well till sugar dilutes.

Add cardamom powder Keep stirring it.

Add last ingredient saffron which is soaked in 1 tsp lukewarm milk.

Mix ii for 3-4 min. Grease a plate /mould with ghee and transfer mixture into plate.

Set it with spatula or hand evenly.Press some dry fruits.And leave it for 1/2 an hour to set it completely.Then cut it in desired shape and serve . Enjoyyyy 🙂

Let it cool down completely.

Garnish with dry fruits. Enjoyyyyyy
