Friends today we brought a quick recipe that saves our life when we are running out of vegetables. Trust me, this recipe is not only a life saviour but also a mouthwatering dish. Aloo Papad Ki Sabji

Aloo Papad ki Sabji

Ingredients

  • 7-8 – Moong Papad ( Papadums )
  • 1 – Boiled & Chopped Potato
  • 2 Tbsp- Oil
  • Pinch of Asafoetida
  • 1 – Bay Leaf
  • 2 – small Cinnamon Sticks
  • 2 – Cloves
  • 2 – Cardamom
  • 1 Tsp- Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Tsp- Mustard seeds
  • 2 – Chopped Green Chillies
  • 2 – Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp- Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tsp – Red chilli powder
  • 1 Tbsp – Coriander Powder
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1.5 Glasses – Water
  • 2 Tbsp- Coriander Leaves Chopped

Process:

First take moong dal papad ( i have used Lijjat papad ) . Now break into small triangle shape ,as shown in video┬а .ЁЯСЖ

In a frying pan add oil for frying, heat it up.When it is medium hot fry papad or papadum. Put fried papad aside.

Take 2 tbsp oil in a pan then add asafoetida/heeng,bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, cloves, cardamom, cumin seeds, mustard seeds , when seeds starts to crackle add green chilli.Now fry for 1 minute.

Add in chopped tomatoes ,cook for some time . When tomatoes become soft then add powdered spices like turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder and salt.And just a dash of water so that spices wonтАЩt burn.

When Spices are cooked properly then add 1.5 glasses of water, and let it boil.┬а

Add papad in boiling water, and gently fold them otherwise that will break. Sprinkle some fresh coriander leaves. And serve hot with naan, chapati or rice. Enjoyyyy
