Potato cheese Bombs
Potatoes – 3-4
Ginger- 1/2 inch piece
Tri colour capsicum-1 bowl grated/finely chopped
Black pepper crushed-3-4
Chat masala-1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Cheese cubes-according to requirement
Lemon juice-1/2 lemon squeezed
Rice flour-2 tbsp
Bread crumbs-1 bowl
Besan-2 tbsp (optional)
(you can increase flour quantity.Here you can use corn flour too)
Oil for deep frying
In a blender add onion,garlic & ginger.Now crush it finely.I am making for kids too so i am not using green chillies.
NOTE ( you can avoid this step too,you can add chopped onion garlic too)
In a mixing bowl add all above mentioned ingredients one by one.
Now take potato mixture then place small cheese cube in mixture and gently cover with mixture itself.I gave round shape.You can give any shape to it.
Now gently coat it in bread crumbs mixture and set aside.
When you make all balls then place them in a freezer for 15-20 min.or more time if you have time.
This process is to set bread crumbs on balls otherwise they will come out in oil.
Now take out balls from freezer and fry them in hot oil till brown in colour.
Serve it hot with sauce or chutney. Enjoyyyy 🙂
I have tried this recipe in two ways and i am sharing both process.One with vegetables and another one is without.Vegetable leaves some water,for this add flours and then put them in a freezer then there is no problem.But after adding vegetables and onion paste mixture will be bit sticky.You can avoid vegetables,onion garlic mixture too.You can keep it simple add flours make balls and add cubes then follow rest of the process.
