Makar Sankranti, is approaching so we brought this authentic dessert which relates to this festival. It’s made of whole wheat, it’s really nutritious and healthy. It’s commonly prepared while sankranti in Rajasthan. This can be sweet or you can spice it instead of sugar. So let’s enjoy “kite flying, seven stones” with having these recipes.
Makar Sankranti Dessert Khichda
- 1 cup- Whole Wheat
- 1kg.- Milk
- 1 cup-Sugar
- Dry fruits
Soak wheat over night,then next day cook in a pressure cooker for 5-7 whistles.Boil milk till it turns half in quantity.
Then mix cooked wheat,sugar & again cook it.When khich completely mix with milk & get a good consistency
then add dry fruits.Enjoy 🙂
