Today I am going to share a flavourful ,tangy paratha for all mango lovers. “Mango Paratha”

Mango Paratha

 

Ingredients

  • Alphonso mango puree -1 cup
  • Wheat flour – 1.5 cup
  • Salt -1 TSP
  • Red chilli powder -1 TSP
  • Roasted jeera powder -1/2 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala -1teaspoon
  • Ghee -1/2 TSP
  • (sugar is optional I did not use it )

Process

  • Take one cup of alphanso mango puree, or you can take any other variety of mango.
  • Pour puree in a mixing bowl and wheat flour.
  • Then add salt ,red chilli powder, roasted jeera powder, chaat masala and start mixing ,do not add water.
  • Knead soft dough then cover it and rest it for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Take small ball from dough then dust it with wheat flour on rolling board and roll out.
  • Roll out to a thin paratha ,thickness is up to you, you can keep it thick as well.
  • Now place this paratha on heated tawa, when bubbles popup then flip the paratha, press with the spoon gently and again flip it.
  • Now smear the paratha with ghee, again flip the paratha and repeat the same process , apply some ghee and press with spoon gently and cook till paratha becomes little crunchy then take out.
  • Repeat the same process with another paratha.
  • Serve it with curd , onion , chutney or you can enjoy it with pickle also. Thank You

Note:-

While grinding mango do not add water, only mango juice or puree.

you can add sugar if you like sweet taste, here in this recipe i did not use it.
